I have a confession. In all my years I do not think I have ever fired a suppressed 1911. Yup. It’s true. But you gotta understand, when I was young suppressors were uber rare. So rare in fact, most gun people erroneously thought they were illegal!
One day I’ll need to fix this.
But…I’ve also heard sticking a can on a 1911 is really, really hard on the lugs / lockup of the barrel.
