Traveling to a 3-Gun Match

Our good friend Wes is shooting a 3-gun event in North Carolina this weekend. The match is quite far from his home state. As such, he has opted to fly. Take a look at this picture of and imagine the pucker-factor many would feel checking this luggage. And flying through enemy lines to boot.

I have a personal policy. I always have backups of guns I travel with. For years I always checked a quite high-end 1911. But there were spares in the armory. Replacing all this equipment would give one pause.

The shirt is the Chris Kyle / Chad Littlefield fundraiser shirts we did. It is my understanding that since we wore it while flying, it was easy to spot like-minded people by how they reacted. And how easy it was to spot statists and anti-American folks. Too bad for them!
