Wilson Combat SFT9
Ok. As many of you know I am all in on the EDC X9L guns. So when Wilson releases another X-frame variant, I pay attention.
Without getting into all the nomenclature of the Wilson catalog, here is the Cliff’s Notes version of this SFT9.

This is the solid frame, no-grip-panels, X-frame, 9mm 1911. So 15+1 or 18+1. The slide is all traditional, 4.25” Commander 1911: GI bushing, GI extractor, GI 2-radial lugged barrel.

In short, this is Wilson’s slimmest double-stack 1911 with a regular 1911 top-end.

If you want a true commander X-frame, with grip panels, that is the eXperior 4.25” gun. If you want a true commander X-frame with no grip panels, that is the SFT9.
Sincerely,
Marky
