So it needs to be stated right up front that I had some trouble hitting anything at 200 yards. My “try-dope” drop data was wrong, and my eyes aren’t good enough to see splash sign at 200 yards. Only later was I able to see some of it when reviewing the target video.
Long term, I would prefer either a scope or a spotter to work out the dope. And probably setup the chronograph as well.
But overall the Sharps was fun. And that is what I was looking for. Fun. Test shoot the rifle to ensure it works (after a decade) and make plans to eventually take it out to at least 500 yards.
