Some old business for internal use. We need to document how to takedown and reassemble the Benelli B76 pistol.
All in all, it’s a pretty simple field strip process. Which is saying something when one objectively looks at how complicated and expensive the pistol must have been to manufacture.
Also…while we are inside the gun, we are replacing the recoil spring and firing pin spring out of an “abundance of caution”. When function testing the Benelli, it seemed like the gun was under-sprung.
Not sure what the factory spring weight is, but Wolff gave us the option for 10,12 &14lb springs. I suspect it has a very old 10#, so we are upping it to 12#.
