This is the biggest whitetail Doc has ever shot. He went into 2020 with a goal: He bought one buck-tag and waited for the right deer to come by.
It took him and Officer Mike some effort, since they initially kept getting skunked. And with some analysis, they figured out why, Made some changes and…here is the result.
So let me take this opportunity to state that two things can be true at the same time: Doc in no uncertain terms was trophy hunting. One tag. One deer. And it is already at the taxidermist waiting to be mounted.
Secondly…he hunted for food. Here he is getting ready to eat his backstrap the very next night. — Editor
