I’ve been keeping an eye out for one of these new Kimber revolvers. And I have to say, I am not disappointed.
The build quality seems very, very high. Seriously, if you are an old school revolver guy, I dare say you will be quite pleased to fondle a K6.
This particular example is the K6s. The “s” meaning stainless. And is chambered in 357/38. Personally I am tempted to pick it up. But my only reservation is I would prefer a 38 special only.
Is there a K6 in 38? I honestly do not know.
The reason this has made the secondhand showcase series, I suspect, is somebody probably bought it as a 357 and discovered pocket rocket 357 magnum pistols kind of suck.
But the build quality is very high. It seems very well constructed. Has no sharp edges. Has a large enough grip that I can get my hand on it. Holds six shots. And has an incredible double action pull. Topped off with really good sights.
Didn’t Kimber get the memo that pocket rocket revolvers aren’t supposed to be this feature packed? Because this thing dominates over the competition.
Did I say I was holding out for a 38 only version? I can’t buy all the guns.
