Springfield Armory – First Shots
So…we reached out to Springfield Armory to question the origin of this pistol and they confirmed SACS did build the gun. Gave me the run down on all the parts.
As for how it shoots, it’s looking good so far. I know these 40S&W guns can be finicky, so it’s a relief to see this SACS gun function 100% (so far) with factory OAL ammo.
My plans for the 40 aren’t really more than having an ammo option in 1911s. It’ll just come out when the fancy strikes, or perhaps a PD shows up at our range with 40 caliber Glock 22’s.
I mean…who doesn’t want to shoot other people’s ammo? 😉
