BCM Upper Testing

A few weeks ago we showed a photo of Officer Mike’s patrol rifle. I was so impressed with it’s lightweight and handiness, we decided to make a copy ourselves.

BCM lightweight Keymod Upper.
14.5 pinned barrel.
LMT lower.

We’ll probably change out the stock to match his and change the safety. The one on this LMT sucks.

  • For those asking, this is a rough copy of Officer Mike’s patrol rifle. Still need to change out the stock and deal with the crappy selector. But all in all, this is a very handy setup!

Now that IS shooting guns and having fun at its finest. If you all are ever looking to adopt an adult child let me know. Happy to do range maintenance, gather firewood and such so I can shoot guns and have fun too. 🙂

    Carry on!

    • I will keep that in mind. Range work never stops.

Careful now, or you may find yourself with more “children” underfoot than you know what to do with! Range work or not… You guys are building up an incredible inventory for those “children” to play with, and you may end up with kids older than you are!

Good video Marky! Officer Mike’s rifle got me in the mood to build one, now I really have the bug. You also touched on something that I had been thinking about, that the most issues you will run into on a build will come with an upper, and that you can build a solid rifle with budget lower. Unfortunately, I just had to cover a very large Vet bill for my dog. He just blew all my “fun” money I had planned for this year. They get you emotionally hooked, then they start costing you money, it is almost like raising another child. Ugh…

    • Dogs first. No question. The gun can wait.
