A few weeks back, we placed another order with Superior Ideas. They are a steel target maker out of Florida.
These use a custom hook that mounts on a standard farm-grade t-post. Which I am learning is perfect for our uses. For one, we need posts since they are easily mounted on the sides of hills. And secondly, T-posts are easier to cut the grass around.
Why?
If the bush-hog drags up against a post? No harm, no foul. Which turns out is pretty important practically speaking. We don’t have to dismantle the target arrays or end up knocking them over when cutting the grass.
