So in between live-fire exercises, I took a few minutes to familiarize myself with the 20 round, factory, HK, VP9 magazine. You’d think it wouldn’t be that big of a transition. And it’s not. But it defiantly isn’t the same (for me anyway) as grabbing and stuffing a 15 round mag into the pistol.
While this isn’t cool, or sexy or fun. It’s the kind of work I have to do in order to get proficient with reloads. If you are Mr. Perfect and don’t need this? Great. Don’t care. Doesn’t solve my problems to make MY gun handling any better.
I need to work my equipment. Hope those of you who need it, do the same.
